 Log Max AB, previous Grangärde Maskin AB is a Swedish company that has been designing and manufacturing machines for mechanized forestry operations since 1980.Since 1988 our main product line has been grapple harvesters, also called single grip harvesters. Such a device will grip a tree, fell it, delimb it and cut it to desired lengths. The grapple harvester is a tool that shall be mounted on some kind of carrier. A variety of machines can be used as carriers, ranging from large agricultural tractors, excavators and loaders to purpose-built forestry tractors. Our headoffice, Log Max AB, is located in Grangärde in the heart of the Swedish forest district. At these facilities we have our design and development department, the production line and main sales office. Our main spare parts depot that supplies all our distributors also lies here. Log Max Inc. is our North America subsidiary located in Vancouver, Washington (North of Portland, Oregon). The employees of Log Max Inc. coordinate market activities, the central spare parts depot and handle sales throughout the U.S. Log Max GmBH in Germany is our second subsidiary. Log Max North-West LLC in St. Petersburg are responsible for sales on the Russian market. Log Max Iberia supplies the spanish market with Log Max and Eco Log products. The company is situated in Huelva, Spain.  A swedish subsidiary is Eco Log (former Caterpillar CTL forestry line), manufacturing harvesters and forwarders. The group consists of totally 15 companies.Read more about Log Max Global Inc. » Markets Today Log Max AB manufactures more than 300 harvesters a year, whereof more than 70 percent are exported. Our largest exportmarket is North America. The rest of the export goes to a number of different countries, our harvesters are today working in more than 30 countries all over the world. Assurance of quality All activities at Log Max AB, from design to manufacture, are carried out in accordance with a quality system based on the new international standard ISO 9001:2000. We are proud of the fact that our quality system is approved by LRQA, Lloyds Register Quality Assurance. ref.no.929457. All our harvesters are CE-approved as well as ET tested (third approval of the CE-test). Financial credibility We have received triple A for highest financial credibility in Dun & Bradstreets rating system.
