Log Max AB participated with its exclusive Dealer in Chile, Latin Equipment Chile (LEC), in celebrating its 10th Anniversary from Oct. 8 – 11, 2008. The visit consisted of visiting Log Max owners located within the vicinity of LEC’s four sales/service outlets in Chile: Concepcion, Los Angeles, Valdivia and Constitution. The week was capped off on Friday night, Oct. 10th, by excellent festivities with over two hundred guests in attendance.

Visits were made to:

Jose Hidalgo, co-owner of company Mecharv who operates two Log Max 7000 harvesting heads. Mecharv was the pioneer in Chile for using Log Max harvesting heads and purchased these two Log Max 7000 six years ago in year 2002.


And:

Oscar Link, owner of company Forestal Oscar Link, recently purchased a Log Max 7000B in October 2007 and has since logged over 3,000-hours in very steep terrain conditions (typically, 70-degree slopes). Oscar’s Log Max debarks in a very unique and well-organized road-side operation in combination with a cable yarding system in Eucalyptus averaging 0.2 cubic meters per tree.
