Do what other satisfied Valmet owners already are doing – run your Valmet with a Log Max Head and use your Maxi Control System like you are used to.
All it takes to be able to run a Log Max on your Valmet through the original Maxi Control System is an interface unit (VU201) that is installed in the cabin. VU201 is connected between the Head and the Control System and maintains full function and control on both Machine and Head. VU 201 also enables diameter point correction and trouble shooting.
Log Max 6000
The new Log Max 6000 is the perfect Head for final felling suitable for the really heavy timber. Log Max 6000 weighs 1240 kgs and is specifically designed for large wheeled carriers. The 6000 is well suited for your Valmet 921 or 911.
Log Max 5000
The Log Max 5000 is an allround Head for every job from thinning to lighter final felling. The 5000 weighs 908 to 934 kgs depending on configuration.
Log Max 4000
The Log Max 4000 has an impressive pulling force compared to its light weight and compact format, which makes it the perfect choice for thinning. The 4000 weighs between 580 and 640 kgs depending on configuration.
