My past experience with Log Max products included 5 years owning and operating a Log Max 5000. And, it was a good experience. However, on more and more of the contracts I was accepting, the wood was getting larger and I knew I was looking for trouble. So, in January 2010, my Dad and I decided to upgrade our carrier and move up to the next size harvester head, the Log Max 6000. We have not been disappointed. There’s a considerable size difference between the two heads and I know in the long run, the head will keep on performing in small or large diameter stands. The Log Max 6000 has exceeded our expectations in every way. Production is up and we’ve experienced no downtime since it was installed. As for service and support and any questions I’ve had, the guys at Log Max Forestry have been the very best to deal with. TW Clark Pulp and Logging East Newport, Maine, USA |
