Log Max Quick Change System RealEasy is developed to facilitate changing of Harvester Heads in the field. The RealEasy minimizes Machine downtime and optimizes Machine utilization.
With taper and centre nut combined with slewingtransmission via the Rotator bolts, the RealEasy is completely integrated and the Rotator maintains its full function.

Switching Heads with Log Max’s Quick Change System mounted to the Felling Link is easily performed by one person.
The RealEasy has machined color markings to simplify positioning when changing Heads. With the Head part of the RealEasy premounted, only tightening of the locking nut on the centre bolt is required to complete assembly.
Assembly
The Log Max RealEasy consists of two Harvester Head parts and one Rotator part. The Rotator part, taper and centre bolt is fastened with M16 bolts. The Head part consists of a steel bracket that seats the taper, and is fastened with M16 bolts in each Harvester Head’s Felling Link.
The centre bolt locking nut is mounted with spring washers and tightened with the included wrench.
The total weight is only 29 kg.
Application
Log Max Quick Change System RealEasy is available for Log Max 4000/5000/6000 and 7000, which allows application from first thinning to final felling in both young growth as well as in extremely heavy and branchy forest. |
