Rubber Rollers

The Tireco roller is made from hard-wearing rubber and has a partially embedded tire chain. This design maximizes traction, avoids spinning and is softer to both lumber and harvesting head.
The Tireco roller is best suited for Log Max 5000, 6000, 7000, 9000 and 12000 where the roller gets a longer life-term thanks to the large roller diameter, which allows a greater rubber quantity.

Steel Rollers

Steel rollers can be fitted to all Log Max Heads. It is a durable roller that demands a minimum of maintenance. The Steel roller has low weight and long life term. The studs are shaped as rectangular pyramids to provide best traction. The steel stud penetration to the wood makes it possible to lower the hydraulic pressure to the roller arms, which is very favourable to both Head and fuel comsumption.

Eucalyptus

In the parts of the world where Eucalyptus is harvested, the steel eucalyptus roller is an obvious choice. This roller has a different design which debarks the trunk by spinning it when feeding. The eucalyptus roller has to maintain a solid grip on the bark as the trunk is turned. During these extreme felling conditions the steel eucalyptus roller is unsurpassed in terms of performance.
