Eddie Gould owner of Gould Sunrise Logging located in Castle Rock, WA has been processing wood with a Log Max head for more then eight years. Gould Sunrise Logging first purchased a Log Max 750 in 1998. We asked Eddie Gould why Gould Sunrise Logging bought a Log Max processor as their first dangle head, his response was “We needed a dangle head that was efficient on a 200 size carrier and that is why we choose Log Max”.
In 2003, Five years later, Gould Sunrise Logging traded their Log Max 750 for a Log Max 7000. Eddie said he was so impressed with the efficiency of the 750 he knew upgrading to the 7000 was the only choice. He said that he has been even more pleased with the 7000 because it has proven to be more efficient and durable than the 750.

Gould Sunrise Logging also purchased a Log Max 12000 in July of 2004. We asked Eddie Gould what he thought of the Log Max 12000 and his response was “The 12000 will handle any size wood that comes along, big or small. The processor delimbs a tree with one pass, you pull the tree through and make your cuts and you are

ready for the next tree. There is no need to make a double pass which makes the 12000 an efficient processor.” Eddie cuts Alder and pine with the 12000 and remarked that “The 12000 rubber rollers have been extremely good in Alder patches. Not once has the mill deducted for fiber damage”.

We discussed Log Max’s parts and service with Eddie and he said “The parts and service support are excellent. I have never called Log Max to be told that they did not have the part I needed in stock. I would say the parts availability is between 99% and 100%, in my case it has always been 100%. The service I receive from Log Max is also outstanding; I have always received the answers to my questions when I called”.

”When you buy a dangle head,” Eddie said, “you must have outstanding parts and service support. Loggers do not work 9 to 5 like most people and this is why we must have 24 hour support. We may break down on Saturday but need to work on Sunday, Log Max allows our company to keep going and this is why we choose Log Max as our processing head supplier.”
