FEATURES
What makes Log Max 2000T your best choice
30% FASTER
Log Max 2000T has increased performance and drivability compared to its predecessor. It feeds at 4 m/s, which is an improvement of 30%. The 2000T’s feed roller motors have a power of 280cc, which is less than its predecessor, which had 365cc. The pressure is also adjusted, from 210 bar to 280 bar.
The smaller motor improves the feed speed while maintaining its traction thanks to the increased pressure. The raised pressure also gives 30% more power to the saw.
NEW HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
The majority of the hydraulic cylinders are new on Log Max 2000T. These changes provide increased quality and improved function.
The new hydraulic cylinders also have new robust seals to withstand tough working conditions. The saw bar feed cylinder now has a locking nut for the adjustable rod end and a stronger attachment.
NEW TENSIONER FOR THE SAW CHAIN
To simplify service and maintenance, the tensioner for the saw chain has been updated. It was previously tightened with an Allen key but is now redesigned to fit a 7mm flexible screwdriver.
NEW MOUNTING OF SAW SENSORS
To facilitate the service of the head, you can now change the sensor and cable separately. The attachment has also been redesigned to make it easier to adjust the sensors.
NEW CASTING IN THE DELIMBING KNIVES
The delimbing knives have been given entirely new castings. The change will increase the strength and life of the delimbing knives.
The edge of the delimbing knives has also been given a new angle to improve the cutting function of all movable delimbing knives. The new edge angle is 35 °.
NEW SCREW TO UPPER DELIMBING KNIFE
The screw at the upper delimbing knife has been simplified to increase the service life. The new solution is now like on other Log Max heads.
NEW CONTACTLESS SENSOR
The new sensor for the length measurement is contactless and has no mechanical moving components. That will result in minimal or even non-existent service and maintenance of this sensor.

ACTIVE FRICTION CONTROL - AFC
The AFC system is our head´s key technology and allows our heads to harvest trees with high precision and minimal friction.
The goal of the AFC is to minimize the friction between the trunk and the frame, which leads to minimal wear on the unit and lower operating costs because the head doesn't use more power than necessary.
The wood quality will also be high, as neither knives nor feed wheels need to use unnecessary force that damages the wood during processing.

LOG MATE 510
Log Mate 510 is our control system specially developed for Log Max harvester heads and is the absolute best control system for our products.
The control system is robust, compact and of the highest quality. It is Windows-based, which simplifies the administration and updating of the system and provides good support for all new programs and services.
The system uses the latest forest standard StanForD 2010 v2 and v3 and consists of three modules, screen, cabin, and head module.

Feed rollers for Log Max 2000T
V-STEEL SOFT GRIP
Self-cleaning feed wheels with high traction, both forwards and backwards, without risk of slip damage. The Soft Grip has a slightly lower stud (ca 5 mm) which gives less penetration into the trunk.
V-STEEL HARD GRIP
Self-cleaning feed wheels with high traction, both forwards and backwards, without the risk of spinning. The Hard Grip has a slightly higher stud (ca 10 mm) that provides a better grip around the trunk.

SAW UNIT
EasyCut is a small saw that fits on this lightweight head. The saw motor is 10 cc, and the saw bar has a maximum cutting diameter of 41 cm.

Field repair kit
A spare parts kit with the most vital components to minimize downtime. Contains sensors, cylinders etc. The kit varies (content and price) depending on the head model and equipment.

Dust & Snow cover
This rubber cover is mounted between the felling link and the rear of the frame. This prevents snow and debris from packing that could damage the protective cover.

Stump treatment
Prepares the head for stump treatment. Requires a separate pump on the carrier.
Rotator control
To reduce weight and cost, it is possible to choose the rotator control option, which means that the rotator is controlled from the head instead of from the carrier.
The advantages are that it frees weight on the carrier by eliminating between 20-30 m of hose and also reduces costs. If the option is chosen, an extra valve is mounted to the head.
